Reports have revealed that Martin Zubimendi, the midfielder of Spanish club Real Sociedad, is currently in the British capital, London, in preparation for his transfer to Arsenal during the summer transfer window.

According to what was mentioned by 'The Athletic' network, Arsenal has been targeting Zubimendi for a long time and is now ready to finalize the deal worth up to 65 million euros, making it the second most expensive sale in Real Sociedad's history after Alexander Isak's transfer to Newcastle.

Arsenal's move to sign Zubimendi comes amid the possibility of Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey leaving, as part of the team's plan to strengthen the midfield in preparation for the new season.
