The English club Arsenal is nearing the completion of the deal to sign Spanish international midfielder Martin Zubimendi, a player from Real Sociedad, during the summer transfer window.

According to reliable journalist Fabrizio Romano via his official account on the platform X, Arsenal is prepared to pay more than 60 million euros, which is the buyout clause in Zubimendi's contract with Sociedad.

Romano explained that Arsenal's management has reached an agreement with the Spanish club regarding the payment of the amount in installments, taking advantage of the good relationship between the two parties, which has brought them closer to finalizing the deal.

Zubimendi, who is 26 years old, was recently linked with a move to Real Madrid, but Arsenal has made a strong push to secure the deal after closely monitoring the player's performance in La Liga.

Zubimendi participated in 48 matches with Real Sociedad last season, contributing to 4 goals, scoring 2 and assisting another 2, and he is currently considered one of the top midfielders in the Spanish league.
