Danilo Al-Saeed Rejects Al-Karma's Offer Despite Financial Temptations
Tuesday 17-06-2025
Iraqi professional Danilo Al-Saeed rejected the official offer made by Al-Karma Club to join its ranks during the summer transfer period, despite the financial offer reaching $300,000, which is one of the highest offers in the club's history.

Danilo, who currently plays for Dutch club Heerenveen, had recently completed a loan period with Swedish team AIK, where he performed well, but he preferred at this stage of his career to continue his European experience and not return to Iraqi pitches at this time.

Sources close to the player confirmed that Danilo's primary desire is to stay in Europe, as he has also received several offers from clubs in the Belgian and Danish leagues, in addition to initial interest from Gulf teams looking for players with technical quality and experience in European leagues.

Although Al-Karma Club was very serious in its efforts, presenting a financially attractive offer along with promises of an ambitious technical project, the player informed the club's management that he is not currently considering a return to the Iraqi league, especially with his contract with Heerenveen running until 2029, and plans for development within the old continent.

Danilo's rejection is considered a blow to Al-Karma's plan to attract prominent professional names, but at the same time, it confirms that the Iraqi transfer market is starting to attract the interest of expatriate stars, which may bring greater opportunities in the near future.
