The Italian club Palermo officially announced today, Tuesday, its contract with coach Filippo Inzaghi.

This comes two weeks after his amicable departure from Pisa, despite leading the team back to the Serie A after a long absence.

Inzaghi's task will be to return Palermo to Serie A after many years of absence, just as he did with Pisa.

It is worth noting that Inzaghi, a former Milan striker, has previously coached Salernitana, Reggina, Brescia, Benevento, Bologna, Venezia, in addition to Milan.
