
Officially: Galatasaray Announces Signing of Leroy Sané
The Turkish club Galatasaray officially announced the signing of German star Leroy Sané, coming from Bayern Munich, in a free transfer during the summer transfer window.
The club stated in its announcement that Sané signed a contract lasting three seasons, starting from July 1st, and will earn 9 million euros annually, net of taxes, in addition to a loyalty bonus of 3 million euros.
Sané left Bayern Munich after five seasons with the team, having played 220 matches in various competitions, scoring 61 goals and providing 55 assists.
Sané sent an emotional farewell message via his Instagram account, saying: "Dear Bayern fans, after five wonderful years in Munich, I have decided to turn the page and start a new chapter. I am proud to have worn the jersey of the greatest club in Germany for over 200 matches, and I will always cherish the titles we achieved together."
He added: "I thank the club, the coaching staff, everyone who worked behind the scenes, my teammates, and especially the fans, for all the moments I experienced there. I will be forever grateful for this phase of my career."
