Al-Shalhoub's Position on Joining Inzaghi's Staff
Thursday 12-06-2025
The sports newspaper revealed that Mohammed Al-Shalhoub, the former coach of Al-Hilal team, rejected an offer to join the new technical staff led by Italian Simone Inzaghi, preferring to move forward with his coaching career independently.

Al-Shalhoub aims to take on a new challenge by leading one of the Roshan Saudi League clubs, with the intention of building a personal coaching career away from the role of assistant or working within foreign technical teams.

Despite his ambition to work in the professional league, he has not closed the door on returning to coach the Al-Hilal U-21 youth team if he does not receive serious offers in the upcoming period.

The Saudi coach had temporarily taken over the first team of Al-Hilal last season after the dismissal of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, leading the team during a critical and decisive phase before the end of the season.

This step is an indication of Al-Shalhoub's desire to prove himself as a capable head coach who can take on responsibility and build an independent coaching identity away from the spotlight of big names.
