The newspaper "Al-Riyadiyah" reported that Al-Fateh has sent a letter to Al-Nassr requesting the extension of Al-Aqeedi's loan.
Previous media reports had indicated that Al-Shabab club was interested in acquiring the player's services on loan.
Al-Aqeedi joined Al-Fateh on loan last January and has played 16 matches with the team in the Roshan League, during which he kept a clean sheet twice and conceded 22 goals.
