A Spanish press report stated that Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has halted his transfer process to Arsenal for the time being.
The Spanish newspaper "Marca" mentioned that the Spanish star decided to wait for a call from Real Madrid, thus stopping his transfer to the English club.
On his part, journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed that Zubimendi will move to Arsenal in the upcoming period, as everything has been agreed upon.
The royal club plans to sign a new midfielder this summer to compensate for the departure of Luka Modric and the retirement of Toni Kroos last summer.
It is worth noting that Zubimendi has a release clause in his contract worth 60 million euros.
