The sources pointed out that the reason for the failure of the negotiations was Malcolm's insistence on not compromising on the salary he currently receives in Saudi Arabia.
It is worth noting that Malcolm joined Al Hilal in the summer of 2023 from Zenit Saint Petersburg in Russia, and his current contract extends until June 2027.
