The Portuguese José Ribeiro, the new head coach of Al Ahly, confirmed that his team has been preparing strongly and systematically since the very first moment in the United States of America.

Ribeiro pointed out: "We made sure to arrive well in advance of the start of the Club World Cup competitions, in order to acclimatize to the time and climatic conditions, and we have already started our preparations for the first match, which we fully understand its importance."

He emphasized: "Facing Inter Miami will be against a strong team that includes a group of big stars who do not need much introduction regarding their contributions to football. Inter Miami is a newly formed team but has the same ambition for competition, winning, and qualifying, and we are well aware that the confrontation will be strong and competitive."

He explained: "Al Ahly is entering the tournament with a sincere desire to showcase its usual character, and we will strive to demonstrate Al Ahly's personality on the field. We are a big club with rich traditions and a solid culture that is always associated with championships and achieving victories."

He said: "We feel proud to be here and to participate in the first edition of the Club World Cup in its new format. Representing Al Ahly, a club with a great history and continental championships in this global event is a great honor."

He concluded: "We have a distinguished group of players who possess extensive experience in participating in such tournaments, along with a strong motivation to give their all to represent the club in the best possible way."
