Turkish Comeback.. Collapse of Osimhen's Transfer Deal to Al Hilal
Thursday 05-06-2025
The Saudi club Al Hilal received a sudden blow after being very close to signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen from Napoli, but negotiations suddenly faltered despite the player's visit to Riyadh.

Renowned Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano confirmed via his official account that the agreement between Al Hilal and Osimhen collapsed due to the failure to reach a final arrangement that satisfies all parties.

Al Hilal made an offer of 65 million euros to Napoli, along with an additional 5 million euros based on performance, but those figures were not enough to finalize the deal in their favor.

Turkish club Galatasaray entered the negotiations strongly, presenting a massive offer that includes an annual salary of 21 million euros with a 5-year contract, along with a transfer fee of 70 million euros.

Osimhen played last season on loan with Galatasaray, where he scored 37 goals and provided 8 assists in 41 matches, achieving both league and cup titles with the team.

The Nigerian star's contract with Napoli runs until the summer of 2026, and his current market value is approximately 70 million euros, which explains the intensified competition for him from top clubs.
