Manchester City Gives Green Light for Star's Departure
Wednesday 04-06-2025
Reports from English media indicate that Manchester City has decided to allow its star Jack Grealish to leave the team during the upcoming summer transfer window, following his exclusion from coach Pep Guardiola's plans and his omission from the squad participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

Guardiola had mentioned, after the match against Fulham at the end of the Premier League, that the club would cooperate with Grealish and his agent to find the best solution for both parties, given his reduced participation this season, as he has played only 7 matches in the Premier League.

According to the Telegraph, the player will not be part of Manchester City's squad that will participate in the Club World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States next year, with clubs like Al Ain, Juventus, and Wydad included in City's group.

Grealish hopes to get a greater opportunity to play in order to return to the England national team under the new coach Thomas Tuchel, which seems difficult given his current situation with the team.

Manchester City has granted the player the freedom to negotiate with interested clubs in preparation for his departure this summer.
