Pachuca Seeks to Sign Neymar
Wednesday 04-06-2025
Mexican media reports have revealed a significant surprise, as Pachuca is seeking to sign Brazilian star Neymar to participate in the upcoming FIFA Club World Cup.

According to the Mexican newspaper "Marca," Pachuca has prioritized Neymar, who is 33 years old, to strengthen the team ahead of the tournament that will take place in the United States.

Neymar returned to his former club Santos last January after an unsuccessful stint with Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia and a controversial departure from Paris Saint-Germain. However, he has faced several challenges in recent months, most notably repeated injuries and difficulty regaining his form, which made his time at Santos disappointing.

The Mexican club's management plans to make a short-term offer for one month, covering the period of the FIFA Club World Cup, with an option to extend later.

Pachuca will play a friendly match against Al Ahly of Egypt on June 8 in Miami, USA, as both teams prepare for the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, in which Al Ahly will participate in Group A alongside Inter Miami, Porto, and Palmeiras.
