French media reports have revealed that Paris Saint-Germain is looking to sign Ukrainian defender Illya Zabarnyi, a player from Bournemouth FC, to strengthen its defense ahead of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.

According to the French newspaper "L'Équipe", the 22-year-old Zabarnyi is at the top of coach Luis Enrique's priorities, who considers him the ideal option to bolster the defense before the anticipated participation in the Club World Cup, scheduled to take place in the United States from June 14 to July 13.

The newspaper added that the management of Paris Saint-Germain hopes to finalize the deal as soon as possible, but signing the player will not be less than 50 million euros, according to the current evaluation of the transfer market.

It is worth mentioning that Paris Saint-Germain is in Group B of the Club World Cup alongside Spanish team Atlético Madrid, Brazilian team Botafogo, and American team Seattle Sounders.
