Salah Al-Faraj, the former captain of Al-Hilal, confirmed that the decline in the team's performance this season is directly attributed to the ideas of the Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus, which have negatively impacted the team's journey.

In his statements to the program "Nadina", Al-Faraj explained that Al-Hilal's season has not lived up to expectations, describing it as one of the worst seasons the team has experienced throughout its competitive history.

Al-Faraj pointed out that the Al-Hilal management was slow in making the decision to dismiss coach Jesus, considering that the timing of his departure was not appropriate, but he expressed his relief at Mohammed Al-Shalhoub taking responsibility in the current phase.

He noted that Jesus had a remarkable first season with the team, but in the second season, he made unsuccessful tactical decisions that clearly affected Al-Hilal's overall level and robbed it of its known brilliance.

Al-Faraj concluded his statements by expressing his astonishment at the lackluster performance the team displayed in the second half of the Roshan League, affirming that he did not expect such a significant decline in performance.
