Juventus Appoints Damien Comolli as General Director
Juventus officially announced the appointment of Frenchman Damien Comolli as the club's general director, effective from June 4, 2025.
Juventus clarified in an official statement that Comolli will be responsible for the football sector, along with overseeing the trade and marketing departments within the club.
Comolli commented on his appointment, saying: "I am happy and honored to join a prestigious club with a great history, a strong identity, and an ambitious vision," adding: "I will put my experience to work for Juventus from day one, with the sole aim of achieving victories as the club is accustomed to and as its fans aspire to."
Comolli, who is 53 years old, has extensive experience in sports management, having previously worked with clubs such as Saint-Étienne and Toulouse in France, Liverpool in England, and Fenerbahçe in Turkey.
His joining Juventus comes after a difficult season for the team, which finished fourth in the Italian league, qualifying for the Champions League, and witnessed significant changes, including the departure of coach Thiago Motta and the appointment of Igor Tudor as his replacement.
