The Mexican club Cruz Azul has won the 2025 CONCACAF Champions League title after a significant victory over the Canadian team Vancouver Whitecaps with a score of 5-0 in the final match held early this Monday morning.

Cruz Azul dominated the first half entirely, scoring four goals by Edgardo Rivero in the 8th minute, Lorenzo Faravelli in the 28th minute, Angel Sepulveda in the 37th minute, and Matheus Bogusz in the 45th minute.

In the second half, Angel Sepulveda returned to add the fifth goal and his second of the match in the 50th minute, confirming his team's victory and their continental title.

With this victory, Cruz Azul secured its participation in the 2025 Intercontinental Cup, along with officially qualifying for the 2029 Club World Cup.
