Sources revealed today, Sunday, the latest updates on the injury of Portuguese João Cancelo, the right-back of Saudi Al Hilal, which he sustained during the past period.

According to Saudi press sources, João Cancelo, the star of Al Hilal, will gradually join group training starting tomorrow, in preparation for participating in the Club World Cup scheduled for mid-June.

The sources added that Cancelo has fully recovered from the hamstring tear injury and will undergo technical and physical training to be ready for the match against Spanish Real Madrid on June 18.

Al Hilal will face Real Madrid in the first round of Group H in the Club World Cup.

Cancelo suffered a second-degree tear in his hamstring during the match against South Korea's Guangzhou in the quarter-finals of the Elite AFC Champions League.
