The Swedish international striker Victor Jökers of Sporting Lisbon has finished the current season as one of the best strikers in Europe, and he was very close to winning the European Golden Shoe.

The young striker has recently been linked with many European clubs, primarily Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United, and Chelsea, in addition to Barcelona.

Jökers has delivered an exceptional performance with the Portuguese team this season, making him the focus of interest for many European clubs.

Interestingly, there has been a decline in clubs' interest in signing the Swedish striker, as Arsenal has shifted its focus towards signing Benjamin Sesko, the Leipzig striker, while Liverpool is working on acquiring Hugo Ekitike from Frankfurt.

Chelsea has also decided to pursue striker Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, and Barcelona is interested in signing Marcus Rashford or Luis Diaz.

It seems that European clubs have reservations about the Swedish striker's ability to replicate his performance in Portugal in more competitive leagues, which is why the clubs that were interested in signing him have opted for more reliable alternatives.

Jökers is set to leave Sporting Lisbon this summer, and the Portuguese club is willing to sell him for 65 million euros.

This season, Jökers has played 52 matches in all competitions, scoring 54 goals and providing 13 assists, including 39 goals in the Portuguese league and 6 goals in the Champions League.
