The international player Mohamed Sherif sees himself as better than Wissam Abu Ali, the star of Al Ahly.

Sherif added during the program 'Kalam Al Nas' on MBC Masr channel, this Friday evening, 'I see myself better than Wissam Abu Ali, and when he reaches what I have achieved with Al Ahly, then he will be the best.'

Mohamed Sherif continued: 'The international player Ahmed Sayed Zizo is a good player for Al Ahly, and I don't think they paid 100 million pounds for Zizo; there is no player in Egypt who deserves this amount.'

Regarding his time at Al Ahly, Sherif said: 'Koller did not help me at Al Ahly, and his style did not suit me; he relied on an attacking mindset, noting that a striker needs to play more than one match continuously.'

He added: 'I haven't seen anything bad from him, and I asked him to play more than one match; I don't like sitting out, and this is the reason for my departure from Al Ahly.'
