The French star Thierry Henry talked about the details of his departure from the Italian club Juventus in 1999 to join the English club Arsenal at that time.
He revealed what transpired between him and the sporting director at the time, Luciano Moggi, in the presence of the coach Carlo Ancelotti.
Henry stated: "In the last match of the season with the team in the league, I went to the dressing room, Moggi asked me to meet with him in the presence of Ancelotti. He said to me, 'We will send you to Udinese because we want to sign Amoruso! '
He added: "I looked at Ancelotti in surprise, then he said to me: 'Thierry... we trust you, we will send you there on loan.'
He continued: "I asked him (Do you trust Del Piero? He said 'Yes.' I said to him (Then send him to Udinese)."
He concluded: "I put the jersey aside and left the meeting, telling them that I would not play with this team again. It is a great club, but it was an disrespectful way from Moggi, so I decided to leave afterwards to Arsenal."
