Press sources revealed that the management of Al-Ittihad Saudi Club is close to finalizing the contract with star goalkeeper Mishari Senior from Al-Raed's first football team during the summer transfer window.

According to the sources, Mishari Senior has decided to leave Al-Raed after the current season, following Al-Raed's official relegation to the Yelo First Division, and the player wishes to remain in the Roshan Saudi Pro League.

The sources clarified this Saturday evening that Mishari Senior is nearing a final agreement with Al-Ittihad Club to join them on a contract lasting four seasons.

For its part, Al-Ittihad aims to sign Senior to strengthen its squad with a local goalkeeper for the upcoming season, alongside Serbian international goalkeeper Rajkovic, based on the request of French coach Laurent Blanc.
