Zakho's coach Abdulghani Shahid expressed his great confidence in his team's ability to overcome the difficult phase and regain their strong character in the remaining rounds of the league, noting that the upcoming match against Al-Qasim will not be easy, but it represents an ideal opportunity to return to the winning track and strengthen their third position.

Shahid said in exclusive statements before the match against Al-Qasim, on Tuesday evening at Najaf Stadium as part of the 34th round of the Iraqi Stars League:

"I took over the team during a difficult period, after a decline in results and fluctuating performance, but things have started to stabilize gradually, and work is ongoing to correct mistakes and restore balance to the team, especially since Zakho has good elements and a promising group."

He added:

"Al-Qasim is an organized and distinguished team this season, led by an experienced coach like Ayman Al-Hakim. They have a group of young players who play with high spirit and combativeness, so the match will never be easy, and we must be at the highest levels of focus and discipline to achieve a positive result."

He continued:
