German media reports revealed today, Monday, that Leipzig has started talks with Cesc Fabregas, the coach of Como in Italy, and Oliver Glasner, the head coach of Crystal Palace, to take over the team's technical management for the upcoming season.

According to the German newspaper "Bild", Leipzig has placed the duo at the top of the list of candidates to succeed Marco Rose, who left the team before the end of the season, with Zolt Löw currently taking on the role temporarily.

The report clarified that Fabregas has not rejected the idea despite his desire to continue with Como, and he also has another offer from Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, Glasner is open to the possibility of leaving Crystal Palace, especially after winning the FA Cup.

Leipzig aims to finalize the name of the new head coach before the end of May, after finishing the season in seventh place in the German league with 51 points.
