A Spanish media report mentioned a hit-and-run incident that occurred outside the Barcelona vs. Espanyol match during the 36th round of La Liga, in the ongoing match at the Estadi Stig Front.

The Spanish network "Relivo" reported that 10 minutes before the start of the Barcelona vs. Espanyol match, a white car was seen entering an area it should not have entered, and fans attempted to block its path on Avenida Baix Llobregat street in the Cornellà area.

The source added that the driver of the car suddenly increased speed in front of dozens of fans and ran over them in an extremely strange manner.

The source noted that images circulated on social media showing many fans with facial injuries, bleeding, and leaving the scene while the Catalan police attempted to keep away anyone who wanted to approach the car.

The source mentioned that eyewitnesses said they did not believe it was intentional, but rather a woman who went in the wrong direction, bypassed security unnoticed, and when she saw the commotion and the police, she became anxious and accelerated.
