Portuguese Marco Silva, the head coach of Fulham FC, responded to an offer from Saudi Al-Hilal to contract him before the Club World Cup.
According to sources, Coach Silva informed Al-Hilal's management of his desire to remain in Europe despite the huge offer he received to coach in the Roshan Saudi Professional League next season.
The Fulham coach held several meetings with Al-Hilal regarding coaching the team in the World Cup, and the capital club's officials requested a final response from the Portuguese coach this week.
This came after Simone Inzaghi, the head coach of Inter Milan, declined the opportunity to coach Al-Hilal in the World Cup, as he wished to stay with his club for the upcoming season.
