Gomez: Fear Has No Place in Coaches' Lives
The Portuguese coach of Al-Fateh Saudi team, Jose Gomez, confirmed that his team approaches every match as if it were a cup final, and no points can be squandered in order to escape the danger of relegation.
Gomez said during the press conference: "We will face Al-Hilal, who has exceptional attacking weapons and capabilities, and the match will be different from the last game between us in Riyadh."
He added: "Al-Hilal is striving to win the league title or finish the competition in second place to participate in the AFC Champions League, and the match is very difficult and extremely important for us due to its impact on the relegation battle."
He continued: "Fear has no place in the lives of coaches as long as the elements are available; we only set the appropriate plan for each match and try to prepare our players to give their all."
He further stated: "We cannot open the field against Al-Hilal because they have outstanding players with speed, and we will not leave them large spaces."
He concluded his statements: "The problem for Al-Fateh is the lack of consistency in performance, and I am working on preparing the players specifically for this type of match."
