Matias Yaesle, the coach of Al-Ahli, confirmed his team's need for support to continue competing at the top.

Al-Shabab successfully defeated Al-Ahli with a score of 3-1 in a match held today, Sunday, as part of the 31st round of the Saudi Professional League.

Yaesle said in the press conference: "I do not know anything yet about my future, but I like to think long-term, I definitely love staying in Saudi Arabia."

He added: "We went through a week full of joy after achieving the Asian elite, but I am now sad due to the loss to Al-Shabab. As a team, we always strive to win, but this is football."

He continued: "Sometimes you cannot overcome mental and physical fatigue after putting in a lot of effort during the past period, and we aim to show our usual level in the upcoming matches."

He further stated: "We knew the difficulty of the match, but we failed to deliver the required level due to several factors including fatigue, injuries, and the lack of substitutes at the same level as the main squad."

Yaesle concluded: "We need support and building for the next season, in order to carry out rotation and rest the players to avoid injuries."
