The Leader Loses Its Star Player in the Critical Match Against Damak
Sunday 11-05-2025
The Al-Raed first football team received a painful blow with the absence of its Algerian player Amir Saïd from the decisive match against Damak, scheduled for Sunday, as part of the 31st round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Saïd's absence came after accumulating yellow cards that resulted in a one-match suspension, and the muscle injury he sustained during the match against Al-Hilal complicated his situation and deprived the team of his services.

Sources close to the coaching staff revealed that Naif Hazazi will be the expected substitute in the starting lineup, as Croatian coach Krzysztof Rzeźniczak is set to include him to compensate for Saïd's absence in the midfield position.

It is expected that Saleh Al-Amri will take the right-wing position that Saïd occupied, while Hazazi will take Al-Amri's position in the midfield, in a tactical change aimed at restoring the lost balance in the team.

Norwegian Matthias Norman will also miss the match due to injury, deepening the suffering of the team at the bottom of the league standings, while Al-Raed completed its preparations with a final training session at Damak Club's stadium after arriving in Abha.
