The coach of Al-Student Club, Bassem Qassem, expressed his complete dissatisfaction with the draw result against Duhok, despite praising his players' performance in terms of discipline and fighting spirit, considering that his team lacked the decisive touch in the final third, which led them to squander two important points in the race for the top positions.

He said: "We faced a strong and organized team with outstanding players. We tried to impose our style in the match and succeeded at times, but we were not on our day offensively, and we lacked precision in finishing our attacks."

He added: "I take responsibility for the result, and I believe that a draw against a team like Duhok is not bad, especially since the match was difficult from all aspects, and the small details were impactful."

He continued: "The league is still long, and we are going through a good period overall, and we will try to correct the mistakes in the upcoming matches. We have a group of players capable of making a difference whenever they are at their best."

He concluded: "I am proud of the players' commitment and discipline on the field, but we need to be more aggressive offensively if we want to maintain our position in the standings or advance further."

He added: "We will close the file on this match, and we will start preparing immediately for the next round. There is no room for wasting more points, especially with the closeness of the competitors in the standings, and the opportunities that are missed may not come again."
