The English club Arsenal has submitted an initial offer of €75 million to sign the impressive Swedish striker Viktor Gyökeres, a star from Sporting Lisbon, during the upcoming summer transfer window, amid significant interest from several European clubs.

According to 'CaughtOffside', Arsenal has officially taken steps to finalize the deal, having made their first offer and already reached an agreement on personal terms with the 26-year-old player, in an attempt to complete the transfer before competition intensifies.

However, Chelsea is closely monitoring the situation and may soon make a larger offer, especially since Gyökeres' release clause is set at €100 million, which puts Sporting in a strong negotiating position.

Gyökeres is having an exceptional season, having scored 52 goals and provided 12 assists, making him one of the standout strikers in Europe, amidst growing interest from major clubs like Manchester United.
