The Saudi Sports Arbitration Center confirmed its approval of Al-Nasr's request concerning its case against Rafiq Al-Ruwaili, the Al-Orouba goalkeeper.

Al-Nasr had escalated its complaint against the Al-Orouba goalkeeper and demanded the withdrawal of points from the match in the 22nd round of the Saudi league, which took place on February 22, to the Sports Arbitration Center after completing the official procedures.

According to reports, the Arbitration Center agreed to Al-Nasr's request for an urgent review of the protest regarding Rafiq Al-Ruwaili's ineligibility to participate.

Sources indicated that the arbitration committee will be composed of three members, with Al-Nasr's management selecting Hassan Al-Saif as an arbitrator, while Al-Orouba chose Ahmed Abu Amara, and Alaa Naji will serve as the referee.

Al-Nasr's management decided to escalate the matter after the Disciplinary Committee rejected the protest submitted regarding Al-Ruwaili's participation with Al-Orouba in the match between the two teams, as he is considered a non-professional player due to his engagement in a job outside of sports.

The Appeals Committee upheld the Disciplinary Committee's decision after Al-Nasr's management filed an appeal against the decision that rejected the complaint.
