The police club striker, Mohanad Ali 'Mimi', expressed his happiness with the victory his team achieved against Al-Karkh with a score of one goal to none, in the 32nd round of the Iraqi Stars League, confirming that the team is moving steadily towards achieving the title, and that high spirit and focus are the keys to success in this critical stage of the league.

He said: "Thank God for the victory, the match was not easy as some might think, Al-Karkh is a good and organized team, but we were more focused and scored an early goal that helped us manage the match better."

He added: "The goal came from a perfect cross from Amir Sabah, I was in the right place and took advantage of the goalkeeper's mistake, which confirms the importance of focus at every moment."

He continued: "We play every match as if it were a final, we know that any slip will cost us a lot given the strong competition with Al-Zawraa, so we focus on every detail and enter each match with a fighting spirit."

He went on: "Our goal has been clear since the beginning of the season, which is to win the league. We know the road will not be easy, but the police have a distinguished group of players, coaching staff, and fans who never stop supporting us."
