Police Surpasses Al-Karkh with a Goal from Mimy and Pursues Al-Zawraa for the Lead

The Police team succeeded in achieving an important victory over Al-Karkh with a score of one goal to none, in the match that took place at Al-Shaab International Stadium as part of the 32nd round of the Iraqi Stars League, continuing the team's strong pursuit of the league title and confirming its readiness for the decisive phase of the season.

The Police entered the match with a clear desire to settle matters early, imposing its control over the ball and spreading across the field from the first minutes, while Al-Karkh tried to close spaces and rely on quick transitions.

In the 11th minute, the only goal for the Police came through Mohannad Ali "Mimy" who took advantage of a cross sent by Amir Sabah from the right side, but the Al-Karkh goalkeeper failed to handle it properly, allowing the ball to fall in front of Mimy, who did not hesitate to slot it into the net, giving his team an early lead.

After the goal, the Police continued to dominate the course of play, threatening Al-Karkh's goal on several occasions, but they were unable to double the score, amidst a good defensive performance from the visiting team, which tried to withstand and stop the attacking threat of the Police.

On the other hand, Al-Karkh was unable to create real chances in front of the Police's goal, settling for timid attempts that posed no real danger, ending the match with an important victory for the Police that keeps them at the top of the standings.
