French coach Laurent Blanc of Al-Ittihad expressed his great happiness after his team's victory over Al-Nassr with a score of 3-2, in the match held at Al-Awwal Park, as part of the 30th round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Despite Al-Ittihad trailing by two goals in the first half, the team managed to make a strong comeback in the second half, securing the match and strengthening its position at the top of the table.

Blanc said: "I am at the top of the league, and yet there are criticisms; imagine if I were in second or third place? The criticisms would be harsher. I won't talk about the upcoming matches now; my focus is always on the current match only."

He added: "Our start was difficult after conceding an early goal, but in the second half, we showed the true character of Al-Ittihad. The players delivered a strong performance, and I am very happy with their reaction."

He continued: "It is true that my team conceded goals, but I always focus on scoring and achieving victory. What happened today is very similar to what happened in the match between Barcelona and Inter Milan. As for the absence of Moussa Diaby, I will not comment on that for now."

He concluded: "In the first half, we did not present anything noteworthy, but during the halftime break, I spoke with the players, and the response was excellent in the second half. I am proud of what they delivered."
