The Italian Stefano Pioli, the head coach of Al-Nassr, appeared at the press conference following the defeat against Al-Ittihad by three goals to nil in the 30th round of the Roshan Saudi League.

Despite the good performance that Al-Nassr displayed in the first half, the team conceded two quick goals at the beginning of the second half, which led to the players' frustration, according to the Italian coach.

Pioli said: "It's hard to talk about this match; we had a great first half, but in the second half, we conceded two goals in a short time, which affected the players psychologically, especially after the huge disappointment of exiting the AFC Champions League."

He added: "Sometimes, simply, it's just not your day, and that's what happened against Kawasaki, and today we faced a strong team, leading the league and possessing exceptional players."

He continued: "I completely understand the fans' sadness after the loss; we feel them, but those who participated today are the best at the moment. We are talking about a complete team, not just individuals."

He concluded: "I believe the team did not deserve to lose this match, and at the very least, we deserved a draw; the result was not fair at all. I feel for Al-Nassr's fans, and we will work hard to improve our performance and return to winning ways in the upcoming matches."
