A Major Arab Team Competes with Al-Hilal for Osimhen's Signing

Reports from Italy have revealed that Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia and Al-Ain of the UAE are considering activating the release clause in Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen's contract, currently on loan from Napoli to Galatasaray.

The newspaper "Repubblica" mentioned that the value of the release clause is 75 million euros, which is only available for clubs outside Italy, giving Arab clubs an advantage over Manchester United and Chelsea, while Juventus will have to pay a higher amount.

Al-Hilal and Al-Ain will benefit from an early transfer window designated for clubs participating in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, giving them an advantage to act quickly before major European clubs enter the negotiation line.

Osimhen is expected to make his decision in the coming weeks, as he considers embarking on a new experience in the Middle East or waiting for a strong offer from a European club competing for major titles.

Osimhen had an amazing season with Galatasaray, scoring 33 goals in 37 matches, including 24 goals in the Turkish league, topping the scoring chart and confirming his worth as a top-class striker.

Osimhen's brilliance included scoring his first "hat-trick" while wearing the Galatasaray jersey during a big win over Antalya Spor, surpassing his previous scoring record with Napoli, which reached 31 goals in the 2022-2023 season.
