UEFA has announced the appointment of German referee Felix Zwayer to officiate the UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg match between French club Paris Saint-Germain and English club Arsenal, scheduled to take place next Wednesday at the Parc des Princes in the French capital, Paris.

Paris Saint-Germain had previously won the first leg at the Emirates Stadium with a score of 1-0, giving them an advantage ahead of the anticipated second leg.

Zwayer will be assisted in officiating the match by Robert Kempter and Christian Dietz, while Harm Osmers will serve as the fourth official, and the duo Bastian Dankert and Benjamin Brand will be in charge of the Video Assistant Referee (VAR) room.

The German referee has a previous record with both teams, having officiated three matches for Arsenal in which the English team achieved two victories and one draw, while he led two matches for Paris Saint-Germain, winning one and drawing the other. He has also previously officiated a match in the Egyptian league between Al Ahly and Pyramids, which ended with a 1-0 victory for Al Ahly.
