
Amr Adib Shocked by Al Ahly's Exit from the Champions League
Media figure Amr Adib expressed his shock at Al Ahly's departure from the African Champions League after the red team drew today against Sundowns in the second leg of the semi-finals with a score of 1-1.
The first leg ended in a goalless draw 0-0, allowing Sundowns to advance to the final benefiting from the away goals rule.
Amr Adib, host of the program 'Al Hikaya' broadcast on MBC Masr, said: 'There is great sadness across the Arab world and Africa, and when the goal was scored, I felt a pain in my heart.'
He added: 'I ask Al Ahly fans to overcome the sadness, and the club's exit from the semi-finals makes my heart bleed.'
He continued: 'I express my deepest sadness to all Al Ahly players, one by one.'
