Real Madrid is preparing for a fiery clash against Arsenal this Wednesday evening in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium, at 9 PM Cairo time, amidst the hopes of the Merengue fans for a historic comeback.

The royal team suffered a heavy defeat in the first leg at the Emirates Stadium, losing 3-0, which makes their task of qualifying for the semi-finals extremely difficult against an opponent with a formidable defensive strength.

According to the Spanish newspaper "AS", Arsenal is considered one of the most defensively organized teams under the leadership of Mikel Arteta, as the London team has not conceded three goals in a single match since December 2023, when they won against Luton Town 4-3.

Arsenal has also achieved frightening defensive statistics, being the least conceded team in the Premier League this season, having only conceded 27 goals in 32 rounds. In the 78 matches they have played across all competitions since December 2023, they have only been defeated 11 times and have not conceded more than two goals in any of those matches.

In terms of the Champions League this season, the Gunners have conceded only 6 goals in 11 matches, showcasing the team's significant defensive solidity ahead of the return leg in Madrid.
