The Brazilian club Santos officially announced the dismissal of Portuguese coach Pedro Caixinha after a series of negative results in the first three rounds of the Brazilian league, where the team managed to gather only one point.

Caixinha's dismissal came after the loss to Fluminense with a score of 1-0 on Sunday evening, marking the team's second defeat in the league, alongside a single draw against Bahia, without achieving any wins since the start of the tournament.

It is worth noting that Santos recently returned to the first division after winning the second division title, but also failed to achieve any notable success in the Paulista Championship, where they were eliminated in the semifinals.
