Surprising Decision to Fine Al-Shabab Due to Official Statement

In a surprising move, the Disciplinary and Ethics Committee of the Saudi Football Federation issued a decision to fine Al-Shabab following the statement it released after its match against Al-Ittihad in the semi-finals of the King Abdulaziz Cup.

The committee confirmed that the club violated Article (50-2) of the Disciplinary Regulations, which necessitated imposing a financial fine of 20,000 Riyals in favor of the Saudi Football Federation.
