Asensio: We are the team capable of turning things around, and we feel angry

Real Madrid star Raul Asensio made statements to the press after the 3-0 loss to Arsenal in the first leg of the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals at the Emirates Stadium.

The player said: "It was a difficult match. We were not at our best, but I believe there is a lot of room for improvement. We will work on that to put in a good performance, turn this match around, and leave with a better feeling. We will play with team spirit, work hard, and change our approach."

He added: "If there is a team in the world capable of turning things upside down, it is us. We need to give our all at the Bernabeu; we need our fans. The team is completely convinced of our ability to turn things around."

He clarified: "What did you miss? Almost everything. It was a very difficult match. Things did not go as we planned. We will take advantage of the positives we achieved today. We have a week of work ahead to turn things around. We need to be excited and support the team to turn the tables."
