Monday 07-04-2025
The veteran coach Claudio Ranieri, the head coach of AS Roma, made important statements following the 1-1 draw against Juventus in the match that took place at the Olimpico Stadium as part of the 31st round of the Italian Serie A.

Ranieri said: "I had decided to stop coaching since last season, and I said that I would only return for two clubs, Roma or Cagliari. When they sacked De Rossi, I thought to myself, it's good that they hired Juric. Now I want to enjoy life, as I have spent more than 35 years in the fields."

He added: "Juventus is a great team, and if I had to bet, I would say they will be in the top four of the standings. They scored during our best moments in the match, but the nice thing is that we quickly equalized the score."

He continued: "After the draw, we realized that we wouldn't be able to win, so we tried not to lose. A point at this time is very important."

Regarding the capital derby, he said: "Now we are entering the final stretch of the season, and the derby is approaching. We all know it's a great match, and we hope the fans enjoy it and that we see a lot of technical skills on the field."
