Good News in Real Madrid's Training Before the Match Against Arsenal
Real Madrid has regained part of its strength with the return of Belgian goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois to participate in group training, just before the anticipated match against Arsenal in the UEFA Champions League, following a disappointing defeat against Valencia at Santiago Bernabéu.
Courtois participated in the training normally with his teammates, a clear indication of his nearing full recovery from injury and obtaining medical clearance to return to coach Carlo Ancelotti's squad in the near future.
Real Madrid had faced a goalkeeping crisis during the match against Valencia due to Courtois's absence, in addition to backup goalkeeper Andriy Lunin suffering from a minor injury, which forced the coaching staff to rely on young goalkeeper Fran Gonzalez in a match that ended with the royal club losing 2-1 in La Liga.
For his part, Real Madrid's official website announced that Dani Ceballos participated partially in the group training session before completing the rest of his program in the gym, while Frenchman Ferland Mendy continued his training in the gym and missed the group training.
