Hans Flick, the coach of Barcelona, expressed his happiness after his team's 1-0 victory against Atlético Madrid in the second leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final at the Metropolitano Stadium, which granted Barcelona a ticket to face Real Madrid in the final, noting that the first leg ended 4-4.

The coach said: "We were very brave. We scored only one goal, but it was enough to reach the final. Everyone should be proud; we know that winning here is extremely difficult. Atlético is a great team with outstanding players, but we performed well and improved a lot in the last month."

He added: "It's not easy to win here, but our defense did a great job. I am happy about that."

He continued: "I always think positively. Today, our level improved a lot after the winter break; the team believes in our ideas, and I am happy with our style of play. We were brave, we struggled a bit in the second half, but everyone put in a great effort defensively. It’s not easy to keep a clean sheet here, as Atlético is one of the best teams in Spain and Europe."

Regarding the possibility of winning the treble: "We can dream of achieving it, but we must remain focused on our goals. We will arrive at three or four in the morning, and then we need to sleep, then return to training and prepare for the match against Betis. The coming weeks will not be easy, but we have a great team, and the club and fans should be proud of this team."

He added: "The team is not limited to just 11 players, but more. I appreciate that all players give their best and fulfill their duties, which is essential for winning titles."

On Atlético Madrid: "They have dangerous players; their attackers are great, but they also know how to defend. We also defended well, and that is a result of teamwork."

Regarding Eric Garcia: "He added more defensive stability, which we needed in the second half. But Pedri and Frenkie de Jong also delivered an amazing performance. I told him during the holidays to stay because I would give him opportunities, and he proves he can play in different positions. He is a young and very professional player."

On comparing the current Barcelona with his time at Bayern Munich: "I don't live in the past; I live in the present. I don't even think about the future. My focus now is on the Betis match, not the final. It's great to dream, but we have to work and focus. Winning titles is a dream, but we have to work to achieve it."

He added: "I don't want to talk about the cup final; my focus is on facing Real Betis. Of course, it's great to play the Clasico, but it's just one match among many upcoming matches. Now is not the time to think about it."

He concluded about Torres and Lewandowski: "I am happy they scored goals. Ferran played because he was good in previous cup matches. On Saturday, we will see another striker. All players are at a great level, which is essential for us."
