Fenerbahçe coach José Mourinho stirred controversy once again after his team's elimination from the Turkish Cup quarter-finals at the hands of Galatasaray, losing 2-1.

After the match, Galatasaray coach Okan Buruk approached the refereeing team and shook their hands, then exchanged words with José Mourinho, before the Portuguese coach put his hand on Buruk's face, causing the Galatasaray coach to fall to the ground.

Scuffles broke out between the benches in the final moments of the match, prompting the referee to intervene and issue three red cards. Mert Hakan Yandaş from Fenerbahçe was sent off, while Burak Yılmaz and Kerem Demirbay from Galatasaray also received red cards.

Security forces intervened at Şükrü Saracoğlu Stadium to break up the conflict and clashes between the two teams.

It is worth noting that the Portuguese coach has been involved in numerous disputes since his arrival in Turkey, whether with referees or rival team coaches, and his conflicts have even extended to the authorities in the country.
