Romano confirmed that Barcelona continues its moves to finalize the deal, as they have put several names on the shortlist and have already begun discussions with some players, aiming to reach an agreement as soon as possible.

Despite the coach relying on Koundé in the right-back position, Barcelona's management is looking to secure a strong alternative in anticipation of injuries and the pressure of matches.

According to Spanish journalist Matteo Morito, Andrei Ratiu, the right-back from Rayo Vallecano, is one of the options being considered, and Barcelona may open a new line of negotiations in the coming weeks to explore the possibility of bringing him to Camp Nou.
