Saeed Al-Lazeez: I Have Decided to Transition to a New Role

Saeed Al-Lazeez, Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Professional League and General Supervisor of the Recruitment Program, commented on his resignation from his position at the association and addressed a message to the fans.

Al-Lazeez wrote on his social media account "X": "After years of hard work and dedication, I bid farewell today to my colleagues at the Saudi Professional League while feeling a mix of emotions, having decided to transition to a new role."

He added: "I have given everything I have in service of the Saudi league and our beloved nation. Every decision, every effort, and every moment was dedicated to a vision aimed at elevating the league and achieving the highest standards, and I feel proud of what we have accomplished together."

He continued: "I would like to express my sincere thanks and appreciation to His Royal Highness Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, Minister of Sports, for his immense support and continuous trust in my work."

He went on: "His wise guidance and support were invaluable in achieving our goals, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to the Board of Directors of the association and all its members for their cooperation and efforts that were the foundation of our success."

He added: "It has been a wonderful journey, and I thank everyone who supported me and stood by my side, from my colleagues at work to our dear fans who share our passion."

He concluded: "Although this phase ends today, my love for football and my interest in the future of sports in Saudi Arabia will not cease. Thank you for everything; the best is yet to come, God willing, for our league and our nation."
