Inter Milan Targets Venezia Defender
Wednesday 19-03-2025
Inter Milan is looking to bolster its defense during the upcoming summer transfer window, considering the advancing age of the team's duo Francesco Acerbi and Stefan de Vrij, along with Acerbi's multiple injuries this season.

According to the website "Football Italia", Inter has placed Indonesian defender Jay Edzis, a 24-year-old player from Venezia, at the top of its priorities to reinforce the defense, with Edzis seen as an ideal option to succeed Acerbi, especially after his impressive performances with his team.

Edzis has participated in 28 matches with Venezia this season, totaling 2498 minutes, scoring two goals, which has caught the attention of the Nerazzurri management.

Inter has also been linked with the signing of Isaac Hien, a defender from Atalanta, and Jaka Bijol, a defender from Udinese, but the club has decided to make Edzis its primary target to strengthen its defense for the upcoming season.
